What’s New in JMP GEnomics 4.1?
JMP Genomics 4.1, our latest release, offers significant enhancements to genome visualization, support for more data types, and a new 64-bit version for exploration of even larger data sets than before.
Many new and enhanced features reflect requests by our software users. Combining powerful SAS® Analytics and interactive 3-D JMP graphics, JMP Genomics efficiently sifts volumes of data, quickly revealing outliers and hidden trends.
- Superior statistical and visualization capabilities. With more than 200 custom processes already built on trusted JMP and SAS software, JMP Genomics 4.1 offers flexible analysis capabilities for new data types as well as new tools for creating graphics on the fly or visualizing the results with prebuilt graphics. JMP Genomics 4.1 adds the ability to create custom genome views with statistics overlaid.
- Huge data sets? No problem. An exceptional toolkit for statistical geneticists in JMP Genomics includes unparalleled flexibility of analysis options and workflows that can support data sets as large as 1.5 million SNPs for 15,000 individuals on a PC workstation. The new 64-bit version, available for Windows desktops in JMP Genomics 4.1, allows analysis of larger data sets than ever before.
- Predictive modeling capabilities beyond compare. The breadth and depth of predictive modeling methods and cross-validation options distinguish JMP Genomics from other genomics solutions. New features in release 4.1 include the addition of ROC plots and predictive modeling for survival analysis.
- The most robust genetics toolkit on the market. JMP Genomics 4.1 includes new capabilities for population measures and a streamlined interface for the use of Q-K matrices in association testing for users working with genotype data. Also added are new import capabilities for imputed genotypes and their use in association testing.
- Transparency. While other software makers remain silent on how their algorithms work, JMP Genomics code is available to users. JMP Genomics 4.1 even lets users save copies of the SAS macro code and resolved SAS code used in analysis.
