8 Simple Ways to Get Started with JMP® 8

Now that you have JMP on your desktop, you’ll be eager to tap its power. Roll up your sleeves and experience the powerful analytics and interactive graphics of JMP. Here are 8 ways to get up and running with JMP in 30 days.

#1. Join a JMP® Webcast.

You’ll be in good company in this interactive forum that covers the basics of JMP. It’s a live demo where you can ask questions and get answers that address your needs. Did you know? You can also download on-demand versions in English, French or German.

#2. Explore JMP® Tips of the Day.

Read one a day when you launch JMP or scroll through them in one sitting. Or at any time, select Help>Tip of the Day from the JMP menu bar.

#3. Take an online tutorial.

From the JMP menu bar, select Help>Tutorials. You’ll find a variety of tutorials from which to choose.

#4. Play with one of more than 300 data tables or run one of more than 200 scripts to launch analyses and create graphs.

From the JMP menu, select Help>Sample Data, open a sample file, and then run the script found under the red triangle. Remember, blue triangles are disclosure icons that you can expand with a mouse click, and red triangles are hot spots that reveal menus with one mouse click.
